Use this table if your MCP host cannot connect or tools fail after you connect a client.
| Symptom | What to check |
|---|---|
| Authenticate never completes | Confirm MCP Access and the role permission. Retry after Reload. |
Tools return MCP_0011 | Enable Raw Data API Access on the organisation. |
Tools return MCP_0002 | Re-authenticate and grant the required scope (WRITE / DELETE). |
Unauthenticated calls to /mcp return 401 with a WWW-Authenticate header pointing at OAuth protected-resource metadata (RFC 9728). That is expected before login.
